Peter, Can you give us a little more info on your NURBS modeller? We have 7 different packages in house that are NURBS based, and we would love to see your product and hear more about how it works with 3DS. Does it support trimming, blending, etc? Are you going to Beta test the product? Is it ready to ship? We're very interested in hearing more. Paul

I am very interested in your Nurbs modeler, having used Nurbs with various applications on various platforms for several years. Can you post or E-Mail more specific info on the features/functionality,(by generic name such as bi-rails, n-sided patches, filleting, blending, trimmed surfaces, etc.), standalone or integrated with 3DS via IPAS, and how is the conversion implemented if a standalone modeler ? Also, if you need beta testing – I have done that for most everyone on multiple platforms, please E-Mail me if interested. Hope to hear more about this soon. Bill Batchelor MEDIA MAGIC

Hello Bill, our NURBS modeller is sold here in Germany as a standalone to use in the DOS shell of 3DS since may of this year and the betatesting is already done. Most of the users who use to work with 3DS are very happy with it. They gave me the idea of offering it in America too. So, if you are interested in getting a license, just Fax to *49 30 6248251 Peter Klose CAS Berlin. We have a DEMO-Version of the modeller if you first want to see the functionality. Trimming and blending are not yet implemented. The price is at the moment 998,- DM bye Peter If there is a possibility to download it via CSERVE to you please tell me how to do

I would if possible like to part of the BETA test team. I am currently the Lead 3dstudio animator for an computer entertainment company in Southern California. I have a great deal of experience in 3d and good head for interface design. Using multiple interfaces all day long I would like to have some input on making a NURBS system easy to use. Thanks Ron Millar

Schreiber's local # is 303-7591024 but as they will probably tell you you cannot sell a foreign product through them. Even if you contact Schreiber UK they do not sell here (and viceversa). You need a local company to act as a "producer" so that you can service your software. Hope this helps. I think we are all interested in a good NURBS modeler for 3DS- Best regards, Arturo

I, too, would be very interested in beta-testing this. Also, have you considered making a "crippleware" version (say, with all features working except the ability to place the finished object back into the 3D Editor), and uploading it to the Library here to give us a sampling of the feel of your product? Gary Yost himself did that with DSPLAC.EXE and OPTMIZ.EXE.
