There is a couple of options as far as OCR software in the Amiga Migraph OCR Jr. About $199 list Migraph OCR About $399 list both do a fairly good job. Migraph is very, very big and wants to be the scanner company that is known every where. These are software packages and do not include the scanner. I do not know if the Golden Image is supported but I imaging it will at least if you scan to IFF (or TIFF) and then load the image in the software. As far as free OCR o on the PC, those are pretty bad, they are better than nothing (but just that). My company spend mega $ in buying good OCR software and is using Calera ($599 list) and OmniPage (just as much I think). Good Luck Eduard J. Volt Information Sciences

I talked to Migraph Sales, and I think that when the time comes, I will go with their software. The rep said that if you "train" it for a certain magazine, or book type print, then you will get 90+% efficiency. Thanks for the help, Tim
