This list last updated July 23, 1994 A500 with books, 1.3, Manuals, kit to move keyboard external Power Supply Good for parts or needs 1 Meg Agnus and mouse to work This was my hardware experimentation machine, so there are a couple holes in the case and shielding, but nothing major. Power Supply is in an exposed case. Has 1meg RAM and clock, thinks there is a 1 meg agnus, although the 512K agnus is all I had, so it does boot. Just locks if you try to use more than 512K Chip RAM $75 plus COD and Shipping Microbotics Hardframe SCSI controller (latest ROMs) Latest ROMs installed $30 includes COD & Shipping Seagate ?? (I think) 80 Meg 5.25" half height hard drive. Works from a warm reboot (power up the machine then CTL-Amiga-Amiga) and works fine As is $40 Practical Peripherals parallel print buffer 128K installed, exp to 512K $40 Reply Via CIS Mail with daytime phone, or call (610) 531-7612. Leave voice mail if I'm not in.

Dear Paul, I'll take the A500 if still available. Please leave me a message. I also just called your phone, and left a message for you. Many thanks, and take care. Sincerely, Richard Tonti

Paul, If the SCSI controller and the hard drive are still available, I'm interested. But if so, could you tell me whether these would work on an Amiga 1000 (I know the expansion bus is the same as the A500 but reversed. I wonder if the Hardframe would cover up the A1000's joystick/mouse ports)?

The hard drive is gone The controller seems to work okay with A2000 but not with A500's so you'd be taking pot luck with an A1000 It is a full lengh card, however the bracket which holds the drive can be removed and you could probably kludge it to point backwards (I'm assuming you are using a SlingShot or similar ?) The card itself is only half length, so by playing with the bracket positioning, it would not block anything

Paul, Thanks for your prompt reply. I'm afraid I just don't know enough about controllers and hard drives to be able to tell if your SCSI card would work on my A1000. Maybe you could tell me if you think it would work if I decsribed my system. I have an empty Phoenix expansion chassis box which fits on the A1000's expansion bus. The box has two A2000-type Zorro II slots and its own power supply. I'd like to add a hard drive to mys system using this box. Do you think your card would work under those circumstances? Fred

Frederic, I have a Bodega Bay on my A500 which adds Zorro II slots to it. I have no problem running A2000 expansion boards. It SHOULD be the same for an A1000. Kevin

Paul, Is the hardframe scsi controller the A200 model or the 500? If the 500 does it include external case/powersupply ect? …Steve Cruising on Autopilot from beautiful Coastal South Carolina
