How about a 2.05 manual, disks, "get to know your A2000" book sealed. whoops.
It's all I got left. I also have 2.04 ROMS. Found bout 20 ROMS and as many 2.1
upgrades but have sold all but the 2.05 software and about 5 ROMS. how bout 15
bucks? let me know. Dan Zaid
how much do you want for one or two ROMS? Gary
Hi,
15 bucks a piece. I have only a few left. Let me know. See ya, Dan Z.
OK Dan, I'll take two ROMS. shall I send a check, I don't know if it's woth a
COD charge for $30 worth of merchandise? Gary
Hi Gary,
I will send you the extended cost with UPS ground for the two ROM
chips later today. Thanks for your patience -DAN
Hi Gary,
The price for 2 ROMS is 30 dollars. It is pretty light so U.P.S.
ground is around 3 bucks. Send a $33 check or preferably money order to:
Dan Zaid c/o The Lerro Corporation
3125 N. Broad Street
Philadelphia, PA 19132
I'll send it out same day on receipt of money order, later with check.
See Ya, Dan Zaid
Thanks, I'll send a check tomorrow. Gary
You wouldn't happen to have another 2.05 manual sitting around in addition to
the other one you offered?
Hi Kevin,
I believe so. I've been telling people 15 bucks. I will hold a set for
you.
See you, Dan Z.
Please leave your address so I can mail you a check. Thanx, Kevin
Kevin,
I will send you the address and additional cost of UPS ground, probably
around 3 bucks or less. Dan
Hi Kevin,
The price for a 2.05 Manual is 15 dollars. It is pretty hefty so U.P.S.
ground is around 5 bucks. Send a 20 check or preferably money order to:
Dan Zaid c/o The Lerro Corporation
3125 N. Broad Street
Philadelphia, PA 19132
I'll send it out same day on receipt of money order, later with check.
See Ya, Dan Zaid
Hi! I just noticed this message, and was wondering if you're selling 2.05
manuals. If so, I am definitely interested if you have any others. Please let
me know.

Dan:
PMFJI, I missed the start of this, but if you've got 2.x ROMs, I'd be
interested in buying a set. (I'm trying to sell an A3000 GVP Accelerator,
and it _requires_ KS in ROM. I've already had one guy return the board
because it turned out he had SuperKickStart ROMs [dev. ROMs which load KS
from the HD.])
If you have a set left, I'd love to buy 'em!
Thanks!

Hi Erik,
I believe the A3000 uses two ROMS in an odd/even arrangement. I
have 2.04 ROMs for the A2000. And we're talking a single ROM chip. I must
also point out to anyone interested that if you own an A2630/30 or /20, or
an A2091 that there are neccesary ROM updates to make them compatible
with 2.05 Workbench and later. I'll go check on my 3000's at work to see
what is up with the ROMs. See ya, Dan Zaid
Alas, you are correct, the 3000 _does_ need two ROMs, so I guess the
single chips you have won't work.
'Never mind….' :^)
Erik Flom
Erik,
Get back to me after CBM is officially dead and we are free of copyright
violations and I will burn you some A3000 ROMS. It will be legal then right??
-Dan Z.
Dan,
NO!! Just because a company goes out of business does not mean that
all their copyrights are suddenly void. Copyrights are part of their assets
and as such end up belonging to someone.
Don
Bzzt. Wrong answer.

Dan –
The liquidation of CBM (actually Commodore International Limited), will
not free up the Commodore copyright. The copyright on AmigaDOS will
belong to someone unless it is explicitly placed in the public domain.
Jeff Schweiger
Given the number of replies, I'm sure you are going to be chided for
making a public offer like that, so I'll avoid the retributions. :^)
I probably won't need them anyway, since the latest buyer (some guy in
England) will be supplying his own ROMs.
Thanks for the offer, though.
Erik Flom
I uh er uh… never mind. I hope CBM parts become available again so I can
banish such evil thoughts from my mind. In the meantime I'll sit back with my
hands tied like everyone else waiting for the A**HOLES at CBM to entertain
thoughts of the enduser and not just the bidders in making the technology
available again. -DAN Z.
Commodore really can't do anything but deal with the bidders. There are no
resources avilable to them to help the enduser, or, to the extent that
there are resources, their hands are tied legally.

Dan,
At this point in time, the trustees have full control, not the folks at
CBM.
