JG, I know you had some part in WaveMaker so maybe you can answer this…I bought it (ver 1.0) because I thought it would allow me to batch animations from LW to PAR by using the save RGB but as you probably know it won't recognize the DDR: drive. Is there any way to get it to recognize it?? I am no where near competent with AREXX so writing a command/batch file is out of the question. I barely have enough time to do the work I need to do let alone learn AREXX.<G> Any ideas (from anyone) would be appreciated. thx jmb

DDR: isn't mounted until the software starts up. <<< Tony D. Tracer >>> (Any render time >0 needs acceleration.)

Do you have the PAR software running when you do this? If not that may be the reason WaveMaker doesn't recognize it. Jim R. Ollick Using AP from Bergenfield, NJ

I talked to Tony S, and evidently there is a problem with WM verifying writes to the DDR: device because of it's file structure. The only workaround currently is to save them to another device and move them to DDR:. You could write (or maybe find) an ARexx script that can search a directory and move files. JG

JG, Isn't there a macro in Power Macros that does batch rendering? Seems to me I read that somewhere. Thx for asking Tony. thx jmb

Yes, Power Macros does have a batch renderer, but if you have LW 3.5. Most likely Poewer Macros will not work properly. I seem to remember them not working with beta versions… JG

Don't have it yet. Dealer sez no release date for the upgrade. But a definite consideration. Happen to know of a PD AREXX script that could perform this function? Think LW will ever incorporate this option??

If you mean no release date for the LW 3.5 update, I got a call from my dealer today saying my 3.5 upgrade is ready to be picked up.

Not what I am being told but I will have to ask again. You'd think me being in Kansas and close to NewTek that it would be here sooner that other places. Believe me proximity has no bearing.<G>

I got my u/g to LW 3.5 Today from a local dealer :^) It also includes u/g to Toaster 3.1 s/w, a nice supprise. I'm just starting to delve into it now.
