I just picked up my copy of MM300 today, looks great, I played with it without
even reading the instructions it was that easy, tomorrow I will read them to
see how to use my Glock with it. Broadcast Titler is not very easy to use with
Glock. Great Program!

We haven't had much luck with using the G-Lock in conjunction with some of our
machines. Probably due to the fact that our G-Lock was an early evaluation and
needs to be recalibrated. Otherwise, the G-Lock EX that is included with MM300
works fine.
Here's a couple of tips:
The G-Lock control cable thru the Scala Key (dongle) pass-thru probably won't
work. You will need to move the dongle to the mouse port and connect the
G-Lock control cable directly into the joystick port.
Careful about using overmodulated NTSC colors. They tend to bleed and artifact
on the G-Lock than other genlock devices. If it is too difficult to adjust all
the colors in your script, then go into the "GL" control panel and make
saturation adjustments in one of the three presets. From Scala, you can call
up any one of the three presets from the G-Lock EX control panel.

As you know from discussion with me and my colleague, Russ Spencer, we use
SCALA. We are using it primarily for producing portions of videos and are in
the midst of 1 project and in negotiations with clients for 3 other projects.
Per previous discussion, our main interest is figuring how to co-ordinate its
use with Toaster and Flyer.

yes, there is something i would like to see in the future. I am a user of
a Neptun genlock from Electronic Design, Munich, Germany. The Neptun could
be controlled via an serialport and ARexx-script. It should be comfortable
via an EX-module.

Hmmm, I'm not familiar with that particular brand or model of genlock device.
Is it branded by any other company or model name/number?

We are currently Infochannel and Scala users and resellers. My company is
Computer Spectrum in Burlingame, CA. We are a regular Amiga dealer in the SF
Bay Area. We were among the first American companies to become an Infochannel
dealer two years ago. Our interest in Infochannel is primarily to create
interactive touchscreen kiosks as well as presentations.
One question. When will we see a PC player for Infochannel and when will we
see Scala Multimedia for the PC?

I am a nonprofessional user of Scala MM300 and Echo 100. This is a Great
product!! I hope to see information in the future with regards to Scala EX
modules for OpalVision.
