Dear Mr. Sysop….. Is there a way to download to my PC an entire thread? That one that is going on with D Landis and others about DPS charges section is incredible. Since I am running under windows printscreen does not work. How can I get a hard copy? thanx…Steve White

Steve – can you download a thread? Theoretically, yes… if someone took the trouble to save it. Anyone can do so, and once it's saved as a file it can be uploaded. Do you have any message numbers that we could get started with? Dave

Thanks Dave for getting back to me. Yeh the thread is in Section #3, item 3 (DATE: ALL). It is a hge thread (sorry I mean HUGE); 54 messages. Not wanting to go back to the beginning the last one I think is on the list is #77178. Do you want all the message numbers? I think this number is the last one sent. Could you put the entire thread into a TXT file. The info in this thing is worth archive on hard copy. Please let me know what happens. Thanx to all who participated!!! Steve

You can easily do it with WinCim.

Steve, Just for the record, printscreen does work under windows. It copies the screen to a bitmapped image in the clipboard. To print it just copy the clipboard into a package that deals with raster images, like painbrush. Then print it. Of course I wouldn't want to print a thread that way. –Brad
