Brian,
For what it's worth Jim Drew over on GENIE stated that he talked to C=
UK and they said that their bid was accepted (they're now "Amiga
International LTD") and that they would start producing 1200s and 4000s
soon. If this IS true I'm sure CEI will probably distribute AI's product
in the US.

Paul,
The CBM UK group's bid was accepted by the trustees as a valid bid, that's all.
That's like saying your mortgage lender "accepted" your loan application, it
doesn't mean you qualified for or got the loan.
Steve,
Yes I figured that might be the case. That is why I prefaced the post
with "with what it's worth". I did find it interesting that they told Jim
that production would soon be under way. Probably the truth is that they
ARE ALL SET to get production under way. Oh well 🙁 , still hoping for a
happy ending.

Amiga International Ltd? Abbreviated, that would make it AIL. AIL =
"trouble" or to "be ill". Doesn't invoke alot of confidence. *8)

Vance,
Maybe if they were "Amiga Worldwide Ltd." (AWL), people would get the point. 😉
Malcolm
How about "Amiga Worldwide Operations Limited" (AWOL). Good acronym
currently…
