People, I am looking for a word processor for a friend who has an old A500 with no HD or second drive (so it must be small to fit on one disk) but needs to have such features as word wrap, margin settings etc so they can use it for college work. I've looked at most the "text editors" in the library but they all seem to be for programmers and as such don't offer the above features. If anyone knows of one (even if it's only available via ftp) please let me know TIA Kevin Flying AutoPilot from Surry in the UK

Hi Kevin, I've got an old version of Scribble! by Micro-Systems Software catching dust here (original disk & manual). Runs fine even on vanilla A500. Let me know if this would do for your friend. He can have it for free. Michael Schumacher Formula 1 on Autopilot

Michael, I'll try another text editor I've had mailed to me first, if it's no good I'm sure my friend would "LOVE" to take it off your hands (and probably buy you a pint or two!), I'll let you know. I'll check out a price for the HD for you and let you know tomorrow (if poss.) Kevin Flying AutoPilot from Surry in the UK

Hallo Kevin, Did you also tried TextPlus 3.0? It is small and fast, but can not mix text with graphics and you can only use printer fonts. (e.g. Pica, Elite etc.) >> I've looked at most the "text editors" in the library but they all seem >> to be for programmers and as such don't offer the above features. If you want further information feel free to ask me. -Franz flying from Aying(Germany) with Amiga 1200`030 & Autopilot

Franz, Where would I find TextPlus 3.0? It sounds just what my friend is loking for. Kevin Flying AutoPilot from Surry in the UK
