Actually, what you need is the 256K MAC II, MAC IIx, or MAC IIcx ROMs. 🙂 We have hired more people so that the wait for things such as ROM dumps is just a few days.

Wooowww!! From out of the blue Mr Drew. Still here, patiently waiting for the IBM emulation notice to arrive in the mail. Just out of curiosity,… how much meg will we need on the Amiga for an 8meg IBM emulation. Also, if the emulation is at ROM BIOS level, does that mean we'll be able to run OS other than MS-DOS (OS/2, Coherent Unix, etc..) or are you only targeting the MS-DOS world at this time??? Catya later,

For an 8 meg 486DX emulation, you'll need close to 10 megs of Amiga memory once it is running. You can run any software that a real 486DX can run… *any*.

That is excellent!!! I had to stock my Amiga mem up to 12meg in order to have 8meg on the Mac emulation. Good news!!! BTW, you pick a good screen(s) for the 486DX ad. Just as a sideline, you might want to show extended memory on the snapshots as opposed to oonly seeing the base 640K configured. In any case, get ready for the barrage or orders!!! 😉 Catya,

Yeah… I notice the non-extended memory when I took the snapshots. Oh well.. next time. 🙂 Did you notice what time it was when I took the snapshots?

Hello Jim, I remember reading various bits on UseNet from you about your PowerPC i486 emulator. What news (I missed earlier threads)? As far as I can tell many people didn't believe you. But as far I'm concerned, tell me anything that's true and I'll believe it. See ya (virtually), Mat SFA.

Great! I've been looking for an excuse to load up my 4000 memory. When can we have it? <g> DJ
