Hello people. I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. I would like to add sound to my flic's. I am not sending my output to a vcr. I want to play my flic's from ram with sound. I have the ability to create both WAVE and MIDI files. I think it may have something to do with scripts but I'm not sure. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thanks. Douglas Drossman

I'm not sure about scripts, but there are getting to be lots of cheap programs that will do this for you, such as Mediablitz or Q-Media for around $100.00. These usually have visual time lines for synching sound to images or flics, and could be what you want. good luck, gary

Doug, There is a file in the MIDI Music Forum (go midiforum), library 15, "Sound Card Files", CINEMA.ZIP. A Windows multimdia utility for playing GIF, JPEG….ETC image formats and AVI, FLI, FLC animations along with WAV and MIDI sound files. I hope this is helpful. -Lee

Doug, You might want to hold off on that file. I downloaded it and it turned out to be only a player and doesn,t allow you to do sound and graphics simultaneously. Sorry for the misinformation, this was somthing I had just read about in Compuserve Mag. and I hadn,t even seen it yet myself. -Lee

Lee: Yes, the program is pretty bogus. And you really sounded like you knew what you were talking about! <bg> Just wait until Siggraph next year! Greg Pyros
