Howdy all! FYI, FWIW, I'm going on my semi-annual, long-vacation Monday. Won't be back until September 19th. Flying to England for about a week, then travelling by train with a Europass to Amsterdam (Netherlands), Innsbruck (Austria), Brindisi (Italy), Corfu and other undetermined Greek Islands, then West to Valencia (Spain) via Italy and France, to Ibetha (Spanish Island), possibly Madrid (mainland Spain), Paris (France), return to England. I have a maximum of 10 non-contiguous days train travel in a maximum 2 month time frame, but in my case 4 weeks to do it. Should be a blast – some of the new European trains do up to 300kph (about 220mph). I've been promising a trip like this to my wife for about 8 years, and it's finally happening. I probably won't be on the forum or checking e-mail until I get back, so if you have any unfinished business with me and it can't wait, speak up! <g> I'll be on CI$ until tomorrow probably, and then the machines go back in storage 🙂 Martin

John, >> I'm soooooo jealous. << don't be jealous! You can do it too. You just need the will-power to break away for a while. The problem with freelancers/contractors (including me in the past) is their inability to believe that life, their business, and the world will go on without them for a month or so. I've got past that now, although I will admit it can hurt business to do this sort of thing, it probably won't be irreperable damage 🙂 Martin

>>don't be jealous! You can do it too. Let's see if something like what you're doing is in the cards for my future: Possible scenerio to make it happen for me: IF our government gets the asians and the europeans really pissed off at us in the trade deficit they will stop sending us new tech toys for me to keep buying so I can get bored with current toys and look to buying more affordable foriegn import products like hot tacos from Mexico (NAFTA). Then I could get away for awhile and not worry about foreclosure while I'm gone. <BG> Have a great time Martin. When you return R4 should be here waiting for you.

Martin You're hitting some of my favorite spots. I used to work at the Adambraeu Brewery in Innsbrueck, so I've got some fond memories (lost a few, too) of the area. Have a great trip! TedB !^NavFont01F0007MGHHG9BA928

Ted, I'm looking forward to exploring the Innsbruck area. I've never been there before, but I have been to other areas of Austria and Switzerland. The machines go into storage after I logoff ….. bye!
