Viewer IPAS

Hi Gus,
Thanks very much for all the work on the Viewer IPAS. It works great!
Can you tell me whether it's possible to have the viewer render in 2-sided
mode?
Thanks again for another great tool,
Danny..
Thanks for the viewer… works good Brando
Sorry Brando,
I didn't write the viewer. That was Gus Grubba and the Yost Group.
Danny…
Hi Danny – it was good meeting you at Siggraph.
Did the viewer work first time for you? I copied it to my
\process directory and running it gives me the following
error messsage:
Invalid GFX opcode:0x1261
Should I be doing something else??
Also, did you get my email – or should I resend??
Thanks,
Andy Roberts

Andy:
There was a little code problem in the first copy Gus uploaded, but it's fixed,
and the correct version is in the library now. Just download it again.
Dave
Hey Andy,
It was nice to meet you too. Sorry, but I don't think I got your email. Would
you mind resending it to me?
About the Viewer crash, there's a new version up now. Just download that one
and you should be fine.
Take care,
Danny…
I really like the little spinning Adesk logo in the colored window. It almost
is cooler than the object window!<g>

David,

Let's give credit where it's due. Danny's been coding his heart out getting the
Bezier Patch editor for R4 working. The Viewer code was written by Rolf for his
routines (ie. Optimize,… ) and Gus extracted the view code out, wrapped it up
into a standalone app, and gave it that additional dialog containing a semi
transparent Adesk logo.

Er, I don't know that I miscredited anybody, Jonas. Did I? As for Danny's
work on the upcoming r4, <applause!>. And I'm certainly a fan of Rolf's
efforts. My remark about the neat spinning logo was kind of like when you buy
a kid an expensive Christmas toy, and they end up having more fun with the box,
ya know?<g>

The code for that "cute little spinning logo" was twice the size of the code
for the rest of the entire program! Gus went crazy with the interface…
again!

Ah, bread and circuses, Greg! Got to keep the rabble <ie, me> entertained!<g>
Dave
Yeah, I thought the logo stuff was really cool too!
I wonder if he just rendered different views of the logo with 3DS or if there's
more to it than that?
TTYL,
Danny…
