Andrew, It was great getting to meet you and Gino. I really wish we had about 20 more members as enthusiastic as yourself. As you could see there are plenty of LURKERS who don't contribute and who don't even own 3DS but probably only show up because it's the only place in town they can pick up a $200+ door prize for the price of a $3 raffel ticket. Oh well, this is how we are able to afford such a wide spread mailing list for our news letter (Glen in Australia and Dr.Gessepi in Portugal) not to mention other (hi-profile…..world class guys), and executive fishing trips. Did I fail to mention that I picked up Pizzarama last week! For anyone just in on this thread, Andrew and Gino drove 2 hours from Gainsville Fla to attend our Users Group meeting in Tampa last nite in a horrible rain storm. A storm which kept several of our regulars whom live 20 min away from even showing up. These guys are really motivated. If only GaryY knew what a cult following he has in this area, he would probably sell his company and start a CHURCH like everyone else does down here. "Place both hands on your monitor and feeeeel the power!" Andrew an buddies also had the jump on we MoonDogs. They checked the place out Monday nite before Siggraph an knew better NOT to return. Excuse me OFFICER your blocking my path to the bar. I'm sure they would have hung in there with the really really BIG DRINKERS, at our MONDO "Wednesday nite after the Autodesk party", Howlin'at the Moon RumpleMintz slam fest, right up til the end. Whew! can't beleive I got all that into one sentence. Eventhough, for some of us Howlin' at the Moon spawned a whole new level of awareness, hence: Howlin' @ the John. I guess that's why GOD created motels, so we have the option NOT to bring that home with us <g>. -Lee

Lee, Thanks for the kind words. We really had a lot of fun and are already looking forard to coming back next month. Hopefully we get to see more of the regular members. The door prize was great but I still love my techno-colored pen. After a short time at Howlin' Monday we were told about this place Barberella's that was "just down the street", and they had "FREE BEER", need I say more?! So after walking for 15 to 20 minutes and starting to think we were walking back to Gainesville we heard the faint cry of DISCO!! This place was a trip, we walked in and there were two giant screens with computer animation on them and YMCA was playing in the background. The Village People music block kind of scarred me at first but we stuck around for the FREE BEER and it was well worth it. Around 3AM people were still coming in the door and Gino and I were starting to think, "Maybe will go to SigGraph from here." With in a half hour, fatigue set in and we ended up making the trek back to the car. At 7AM, the all you can eat breakfast buffet in the hotel was tasting mighty fine. <g> Hopefully we can find a reason to make the ride back to Orlando for a weekend. Lee, can you give me some more info on that PBS thing. I think Gino and I might be interested. Talk to you soon, Andrew

Thank Greg Pyros for the pens. Send me your mailing address and I will make sure you get the info in the PBS thing. Perhaps you already gave your address to Jeff, in either case, you'll get it. How are the tapes? -Lee
