To YOST GROUP rg: Vapor AXP I am having a problem with VAPOR. The secondary motion data will not update. This, even though I have gone back into the keyframer-attributes box. I have tried to create a new box, but now I get the message "AXP terminated" Do you have any suggestions? Regards Philip Aro

If you're using Vapor 1.0, there's an update that you need. An update disk will be mailed to all Disk#6 customers this week, but if you want it asap, you can email me your order info (dealer, date ordered, etc) and I'll email a zip file with the update back to you. – G

Is there also an update to Flame ? I had a problem of this nature with Flame about a week ago.

Yup. The update is being mailed to all Disk#6 customers at the end of this week, but if you want an email update here on CIS, you can contact me with your order info (dealer, date, etc.) and I'll check you out on the Schreiber customer database and then shoot a new version over to you. – G

I'll wait I am working on other thing right now and don't need it real fast. Will you also be updating other IPAS on that disk? and do you think this disk #6 problem might lead to corrupt 3ds.exe files? I have been having a problem with my 3ds.exe file getting corrupted lately. I explained it to Don Landis in the WorkGroup/Lantistic thread.

There's no way that it could lead to corrupt files. Re other IPAS' on Disk6… yup. We've added random number control to Scatter as well. – G

Both Flame and Vapor are updated to include the revised secondary motion stuff, and to allow different random number seeds to allow identical option settings w/ non-identical results, and Scatter is updated to allow change of the random number seed as well. There was no change based on any "file corruption" problem, at least from what Gary has said, and there haven't been any other CIS complaints about corruption coupled with those IPAS routines. Dave
