I just downloaded the latest drivers from the forum – Version 1.0.3.P1 dated 6/15/94. Tested all of the Matrox options. It doesn't have support for my board. Still bummed, Christopher

Christopher, Where are you trying to find the drivers? What kind of HW do you have? I know where 3DS drivers are for the Matrox MGA PCI 2+ if that's what you're looking for. Marc

Hi Marc, I am trying to get the MGA-PCI/2+ to work with Vibrant's inline driver for 3DS. I don't like the MGA-supplied all-in-one AutoCAD/3DS driver. I was under the impression that the latest Vibrant s/w in the 3DS library would do the trick (the latest version I saw was 1.0.3.P1 dated 6/15/94. Oh, well, I guess I will wait for R4 and hope they got my card on the list. Christopher

If you are having problems, it might be fixed in 1.0.4 (coming soon) since we just recently integraded a new driver developer's kit from Matrox into our code to fix some minor problems and include support for their next rev of the MGA chip. The latest Vibrant drivers DEFINITELY support the MGA PCI/2+. I'm using the combo as we speak. You've probably got a hardware or software conflict going on. John Tissavary (LUNA cie, inc)

I have the EXACT same card, and mine works fine. What motherboard are you using? I had an OPTI chipset based Pentium 90 MB that was totally incompatible with Vibrant, due to a dual processor PCI architecture. I switched to the intel based MB and everthing is fine now. John Tissavary (LUNA cie, inc)
