Michael, The Psion 3a, in my opinion is the nicest palmtop available today. It is made in the UK and is sold here in the USA via various retailers including the Sharper Image, CompUSA etc. It is supported here in Compuserve in the palmtop forum:Type Go Palmtop and select the Psion section in either mesages or libraries. I call it my tiny b/w Amiga. It weighs less than 14oz and fits into a pocket. It has an excellent GUI, digital sound, MACRO (read AREXX),and 3 color (bl/wh/gry) graphics. I personally knowof 8 people who sold their Newtons and repurchased Psion 3a's. No, I am not a salesperson for Psion, I just believe in word of mouth advertising. Too often I have seen products with superior qualities fall due to their competitors deep advertising pockets. I have owned/enjoyed a Sony BetaMax VCR, several Amiga Computers, a Daihatsu Rocky 4-Wheel DRive, and too many pints of BEN & Jerry's Ice Cream. All are either extinct or or on the road to being so, in spite of their clear superiorit over their competition. Psion makes a reat palmtop, in fact they are the number one selling palmtop in the world, but Apple outspends them 50 to one in advertising dollars for their Newton. Psion is developing voice recognition technology for future palmtops, while Apple is locked into pen-based ideology. I think that Psion, clearly has the better of the two ideas. I hope they don't suffer the same fate as Commodore in the coming years. Regards, Marty
