#Phaser 300i driver

I have access to a Tektronics Phaser 300i color thermal wax printer. Is
there a printer driver out there that would run this beast?

Sorry, don't know… but isn't PS available on this machine? Or is it just
optional?

I'm not sure, (sorry, its a Phaser 220i) but I hooked it up and selected
the PS driver and sent an image to it via ADPro… nothing, it just sat
there. The owner of the printer said that it isn't directly Postscript
compatable. Ads for their 400 printer claim full Postscript compatable, so
one would figure, eh? BTW, did I hear something about the Amiga's PS
driver being broken?

Oh… don't remember me… I just had my fights with that stupid PS WB
driver… I should have known better as I allready did some checks and the
driver allways showed serious bugs. Well, to make it short: the driver won
and my printer and I lost 🙁
But well, I heard someone does use the driver with success. I just haven't
found that someone yet… the bugs I found are mainly timing related… so
it might work sometimes…

Sorry to hear that. Luckily, I still use an impact printer. just hoping to have
some luck hooking up this thermal wax printer. I made an invite to my
daughter's first birthday which has a scanned picture of her in it. I ended up
bringing it into Photoshop on a Mac. But, Photoshop doesn't print too well to
this printer. My friend takes images into Illustrator, which does print very
well to it.
