Erik, Well, after 4 days of using it I haven't experienced anything strange or unusual. If anything it feels like the system is stabler than before, although that's more a sense than anything truly tangible. I did find that CanDo works properly with the Picasso board in recognizing the existence of the Picasso video modes, which it did not with 2.1. I'm sure that has to do with the new ROMs. About the only "bug" I seem to notice is that the 3.1 Palette program seems to want to use the wrong Color 0 value until I reboot with the new settings. Otherwise, nothing else seemed out of place. During installation the math libraries I had been using were overwritten. The libraries with 3.1 apparently aren't optimized for the 68040, as were the ones I had been using. The 3.1 libraries are slow. I replaced them today with the faster ones and that made a big difference in spreadsheet operations. I've tried most all of my apps, FinalWriter, ProWrite, PageStream, CanDo, SuperBase, etc. All seem to work without a problem. I have, however, read some threads here that report ProPage doesn't work with 3.1, and some of the newer animation/graphic programs were reported having a problem, but I don't recall which ones, specifically. So far, it seems to be a stable operating system.
