Hello CD32 users; I am considering purchasing a CD32 but I have some rather general questions that I thought I might get some answers to on this forum. I currently own an Amiga 3000/17. What will I need (besides Parnet) to connect to my Amiga, and what will it cost me. I've noticed that there is quite a selection of CD games, are they any good? What else is there available? Is everyone happy with this hardware? Are there any misgivings. Thanking everyone in advance Bruce

If you going to buy the CD32 you are going to need SX-1 a CD-32 Expansion Unit. This turns your CD32 into a powerful desktop computer with the characteristics of an Amiga 1200. With Parnet you can connect you CD32 to your Amiga 3000. Some of the Games are good like Liberation and microcosm. It all depend on what type of games you like. The CD32 is fast about the speed of a PC386 if you add Fast ram. The Hardware is good but needs more software. The cost for the CD32 is about $299 or lower the SX1 is about $250

Bruce, I have a CD32 and an A1200. Unfortunately I have not yet Parnetted them together. However, I do now have all the equipment neccessary. What you will need is a Paravision SX-1 which costs $249.00 and a floppy disk drive which costs about $60.00 to $90.00. Then, of course, you need the Parnet software and Cable. Hope this helps out.
