Brilliance! The best just got better!
Maybe you should cross-post this message to Electronic Arts in the "New
Deluxepaint?" topic as a suggestion for new features in DPaint :-).
Gnight,
Mat.
Except Brilliance forgot basic art tools like light table?!? I was hoping
for a 24 bit program with lightable to do some tracing etc from digitized
pictures…. Had to Adpro the bit layers down so I could use DPaint..
I've only had Brilliance far a couple of weeks (couldn't deal with the
dongle so waited for 2.0 to buy it) but it seems like a nice program. It
may be faster than Dpaint, and have the true brilliance package
advantage, but I think the "kicked Tut's butt" claim is a little
exaggerated.

Anybody out there have any luck with Brilliance and the Retina Z3? I sure
haven't had. Maybe I should ask them (DC) …
DJ
Brilliance should work fine with Retina.
DC's Tech line is 916-344-4825 (916-DIGITAL). Greg or Paul should be able to
get ya running.
You can also leave Greg email at 71175,3162 or use DC's BBS.
Let me know whatcha find out.
Ted,
I hope you're right! I'll have to give them a call. Thanks for the info!
DJ
Hope you are still enjoying Brilliance.
From what I recall Brilliance has several ways to do tracing from a digitized
picture. Try calling Greg or Paul at DC (916-344-4825). They've collected a
bunch of cool tricks with Brilliance.
Wilco;
I haven't worked my way through the manual yet. I looked under
transparency, light table, onion skine, tracing…. Had no luck. Guess
I'll give the guys a call.
