#ADPro 2.5 & Picasso…
6 messages in this thread
Now that the 3.1 ROMs are finally out, I'm looking to slowly upgrade my new
(used) A3000. For a video board, I'm looking at the Picasso II, however I've
read articles that claim ADPro 2.5 does not directly support the Picasso board.
Is it possible to display images directly to the Picasso from inside ADPro?
Any info would be appreciated!
Thanks, Keith.
I do not know what articles you read but ADPro most definitly has
direct support for the Picasso II. There are plenty of Picasso II
users that can testify to that.

Thank you for clearing that up. I got confused when I saw your adds
claiming compatability, but then read the AmigaWorld article on ADPro
2.5 which stated that ADPro could read & save to the Picasso format,
but not actually display the images. Looks like I may get a Picass
II…
Hi,
I have AdPro and a Picasso and they works fine together. You can display
images in any available Picasso screens.

ADPro 2.5 works great with the Picasso for me, Keith. ASDG is one of
the few companies that actually recognized the fact that people with
graphics boards tend to do graphics! <g>
Version 2.5 will render either to and ADPro screen on your Workbench
or any of the Picasso specific modes available on your system, they
did a nice job of implementing this.
