Martin, GVP controllers do not check for parity, so it shouldn't matter. I would start with parity turned off. GVP TECH

Thanks for the info….. What about Termination Power ? I noticed that the Toshiba CD-ROM that I've got allows you to specify whether or not IT should supply the termination power. Any advice ? Regards, Martin Sinclair

DEC, at least, recommends in the manual for my HD that all devices on a SCSI bus which are capable of supplying termination power do. They provide some reasonable-sound explanation.
