#GVP Series II for A500!

Help,
I've a problem with my Series II hard drive for my Amiga 500.
I had iplugged into a Phoenix Power Supply which went bad. Now the
HD won't work. I checked the voltages on the power supply (unloaded)
and they fluctuate. I check them on the connector on the Series II
and I don't get any 12 VDC on the correct pin indicated on the power
supply. It measures at a little under 5VDC. On the pin that should
have 5 VDC, I get something down in the Millivolts range. Also,
don't know what (if any) damage was done to the Hard Drive or the
SCSI interface. Does, GVP still repair these things. My local GVP
rep went out of business several months ago.
GVP does not really fix these supplies, since it would cost more than
the cost of the power supply to have it brought in for repair. There
are several alternatives:
1. NEW SUPPLY – We may have some replacement power supplies for sale.
Contact Customer Service at 610-354-9495 and check.
2. BIG SUPPLY – You could purchase the BIGFOOT from Micro R&D. It has
enough power to run the A500 itself and the A500-HD8+ (with an
additional cable).
3. REPAIR – Some of the older power supplies has a potentiometer to
regulate the 5 volt output. Try opening the unit an looking for the
voltage pot. In most cases, you can bring up the level to proper
spec.

But how about the Series II SCSI adapter? Any chance GVP can or will repair
it if it needs?
