Up until yesterday I have not had the opportunity to check to check my messages from another tel. however, when I tried to access my Phone Pak via another outside tel, I enter the random number to interrupt the message system and proceeded to enter my security code but, to no avail. All I got in response was the "I don't understand that message" prompt from PPak. The only thing that has changed, that I can recall is that I installed the latest PPak update about a week and a half ago. Maby their is an easy answer but I cant seem to resolve this problem.HELP In at 14,400 on Autopilot & out before anyone notices. Mail on this forum or on the Net at bherbst@world.std.com

Hi Bruce I am also using the latest version of Phone Pak without any problems. Have you tried using it without the security code? Is the security code in your new version? I haven't bothered using any security code. I love my Phone Pak and I'm sorry you are having problems. I think its best kit I have seen for the Amiga as well as Autopilot. If there is anything else I can help with call me. Are you in the UK?

Bruce, PhonePak will typically ASK you for your password. If you were not asked, then it will try to interpret your password as a ROUTE request, generating the error message. It sounds like you lost something during the upgrade. Try entering your password from the LOCAL phone. I have a feeling that this will fail. In that case, try creating a new system and use the password feature again. If it works, then something went wrong with your old system setup and it will have to be recreated. Otherwise, something is going on with the installation in general and I recommend backing up all portions of the phonepak setup and re-installing as though new. GVP TECH
