Well I finally purchased a Deluxe Emplant with the ROM's, should be here in a few days. I do have a question about the SCSI controller. Has anyone used the Emplant's SCSI controller to hook up a Scanner? If so, did it work OK with PhotoShop or any of the other image processing programs?

my microtek scanner works fine when the SCSI works ! I have many problems to making it working. I use PHOTOSHOP. NIH crashs the emulator. It is not easy to make a SCSI chain working.

OK Regis, thanks for the information. I'll give the scanner a try once I get my Emplant and see what happens. First thing I have to do is save a bunch of pennies to purchase 7.1 and PhotoShop.

John, I have used an EMPLANT SCSI for a B/W scanner and it worked great with OCR. I can't imagine why there would be any problem with color and Photoshop. Bill

OK Bill, that's the kind of information I was looking for. I'll see if I can purchase the SCSI option for my old ES-300C, otherwise I'll make do and keep the scanner on the Amiga side.

I have used a Microtek and an Abaton color scanner with Photoshop without any problems with the Emplant.
