Roy, I was praying for an easy way out of this, and your reply sounds ingenius. I have just ordered AutoCad and will attempt to learn it this Fall at the local CC, so until then I will not be able to BPoly anything :-} But I have written down your suggestion and I will use it later. The next time, I'm going to save my shapes in shaper and paths in lofter. This is sound creation management. Thanks your your learned suggestions. Eric

Eric, Just a quick one: In 3DS if you save Projects and not just files all of your lofter and shaper stuff will stay intact. These are the ones with the PRJ extension instead of the .3DS extension. If you have a couple complicated lofts in a particular project you can save them individually but usually having all of your shapes is enough. DM

Dave, thank you for your time. I usually save stuff as .prj files, but there always seems to be missing the parts I want to re-shape and re-loft it. I have another problem, say I want to wrap text in a circular fashion as in revolving around the world. How would I do that? Thanks, again, Dave. Eric

You can create text in the 2D Shaper, loft it, then use the BEND command for wrapping text in a circular fashion.

Thank you, Nik, I'll give it a go.
