Hi Everyone…
While I'm not an AD user, it's been suggested that I drop in here and leave a
one-time message to let everyone know that we have established a SGI User Group
Section in the GUGRPA Forum which is open to all interested in high-performance
animation and modeling. If you're mildy curiouse about SGIs and Alias, Soft
Image or Wavefront… we have several users on hand with experience. We even
have a library section where we will locate files of artwork created on SGIs,
but since the section is just about two weeks old right now, don't expect a lot
just yet until everyone finds a convenient method of compressing and uploading
files. Probably JPEG and possibly some MPEG animations.
Anyway, just thought I'd visit here and leave an open invitation. Hope to see
some of you visit us soon.

good to hear SGI users have a presence on CI$ now. I may stop by and visit
since my company (MetroLight Studios) runs 3ds, Wavefront, Prisms, Alias etc.
I often have data portability questions 🙂
