Apparently just to make it more appealing to A4000 owners.
I'm having trouble connecting a Magneto Optical drive to my A4000. Do you know
anyone who is using an MO on an Amiga?

What kind of SCSI controller are you using with your MO drive Jon? If
it's a 4091, you may need to get a ROM upgrade before it will operate
properly.

I'm using a GVP Impact Series II. So far it has worked with everything else
I've tried, including a Quantum hard drive, SyQuest, CD-ROM, and HP Scanner.
It is very unusual, at least in my experience, for the Amiga (via HD Tools) to
"see" a device when the GVP will not. It's usually the other way around.
As for the 4091, I've just heard that it is now available from DKB. However, I
would really like to avoid changing SCSI controllers just to make an MO work. I
already have 12+ machines configured as above and I'm planning to install 50
more.
