Hi all, We've been working on a project which requires an abnormal amount of OMNI lights. But on some occasions it crashes giving a memory error. What are the limits of the amount of lights? Thanks Terry.

"What are the limits of the amount of lights?" I believe they're limited by your hardware. You mentioned you were NOT using shadow-casting lights, which would be a big drain on resources. I am not sure I understand why you have so many lights, but I'm sure you have a reason. Tell us more about the crash. Does it crash when you boot plain (F5 during bootup if you have DOS 6), and load a mouse and render? Run CHKDSK /F or SCANDISK to make sure you don't have any issues with Lost Allocation units, and also: make sure you're sufficiently stocked with hard disk space if you're paging to disk while rendering. I think it's possible to create conditions where the growing swap file will fill up the hard disk and not be able to let 3DS know in time to avert a crash.
