This is probably a stupid question but I am trying to morph materials using R3 on some text and when I try to assign the morph to the materials it says no morphable objects. Is this a R3 "Feature"? Steve Bogart

Steve, That's correct. You can animate materials through animated texture maps or .IFLs, or in some cases through the use of VARY.SXP. Kevin Krell – Computer Support Associates

Steve, << I am trying to morph materials using R3 on some text and when I try to assign the morph to the materials it says no morphable objects. >> You have to make a copy of the text object and assign the "morph-to" material to it. Oh, and it is a r3 feature. Mark

Thanks for the help. I was, not thinking, that I could morph materials that existed in the sceen not that the object had to exist twice. Once for each material. Again Thanks for the help. Steve
