Tom – Look at the last grouping of messages posted in the 3DS section and there will be one message pointing to new library files for 3DS MAX and three section messages giving details on the new program. They are called "READ!!! 3DS MAX part 1,2,3" Anne

Tom: Jonas will probably fill you in if he gets a chance (the guy was on his feet all day here at SIGGRAPH). The demo today was done on a system which was put together by CompuAdd – Dual 120mhz Pentium processors with an Omnicomp 3Demon glint-based accelerator board. The demo was impressive to me as all editing happened in all viewports in REAL TIME! You move a vertex/object/selection in plan and it is moving in side views and in your real-time phong shaded camera view. From what I gathered you could have all views displayed as shaded if you want – this was not demonstrated and is just speculation on my part. -Bob Ritger

Gary didn't show this on every demo series but showed this a few times during the IK robot bombing the duck. jonas[adesk]

Dear Jonas! I am really interested in getting a dual-120-pentium machine with 3demon. Currently I am registered for 3DS3. How do I get the machine and the new-3DS? It's really urgent, because it sounds GREAT!!!
