I'd like to jump in to agree with you here, Aaron. I think I know what Digimation is going to say: 1) This isn't an IPAS, it's an entire rendering platform, and one that is a much higher quality and detail than Vista Pro, and 2) They are brokers for programmers in a completely different country, who are setting a price that Digimation can't change. However, I do think $1000 for a product that does nothing more than generate scenery is outrageous, and I think they are pricing themselves out of the market. Even half that price would be far more reasonable — after all, people won't buy this product in a vaccum, as they'll still have to have some kind of 3DS program in addition to it to do anything useful (does anyone really do JUST scenery?). And if it's the Russian programmers that are causing the high price tag, Digimation should educate them in the basic principles of capitalism. And speaking of a Human Body Generator — there is one, and it's called Poser, by Fractal Design, and it's priced at…. $100. No, I didn't drop a zero, and it sounds too good to be true, but there is one draw back — it's only available for the Mac. However, I talked to Fractal and they are hard at work on the Windows version, due out by the end of the year (talk about people having their priorities screwed up!!!). At least their price is reasonable — hell, I could buy a used Mac AND the program for less than Digimation would charge if it was their program.

Mike, thanks for your reply. I have heard of Poser, and the fact it's only for Mac pissed me off. Digimation should really seriouslly condisder making a body generator, as well as many usefull motion built in, such as walking, sitting, running… Why can't people put some thoughts before they make something?
