Hey Alan, It was a pleasure meeting you, Martin, and the rest of the CIS gang at the AMMEDIA party. I suspect next year's party in New Orleans will be legendary! You said it right in your review – 3DS MAX was the star of Siggraph ' 95. Congrats to the entire Yost Group! – no longer a "lurker"….. Gino Nearns Digital Art & Motion

Gino, >> no longer a "lurker"….. << glad to see you have finally de-lurk-ified yourself <g>. >> a pleasure meeting you, Martin, and the rest of the CIS gang at the AMMEDIA party. New Orleans should be a blast and we should see a bunch of new Max created work. Hopefully, by then we'll see a new crop of 3ds stars attracted to a revolutionary product. Martin

It was very nice meeting you, too, Gino, at what turned out to be quite a show, eh? Yup, next year should really be something — I'm thinking hard about it already! I'm glad you will be more active here in the forum. The more the merrier! -Alan

John, I enjoyed your work, especially the flying dragon! Can't figure out why you criticize your work so much. In any case, I'm looking forward to another AMMEDIA /DEMO party at SIG '96 and seeing what you and everyone else comes up with. Gino (DA&M)

>>I enjoyed your work, especially the flying dragon! Thanks :^). >>Can't figure out why you criticize your work so much. A couple of reasons. First, none of the stuff I brought was 'reel quality', and that's kinda bad when you know you can do it, you just haven't actually _done_it. Second, habit, I guess (you have know idea how weird it feels when the most humble person you know (and this person is humble to a fault) tells you that_you're_too self-depreciating :^). Hope to have both these problems fixed by Nyawlins. >>In any case, I'm looking forward to another AMMEDIA /DEMO party at SIG '96 and seeing what you and everyone else comes up with. I'll second that :^). John Stetzer JWS
