Kevin, >> The $495 price only applies if the MAX migration is "reserved" before >> First Customer Ship of MAX. Thanks for the clarification. That is not how the quote from the MAX readme file in one of the zips in the library (as noted in the previous message) reads. Someone should pull that file and alter it. Since no ship date has been announced the moral here is order it now or forever hold your peace. JDH

Jonas, You folks are amazing, you're everywhere! While you're there may I make another *small* preventative suggestion… put the phrase "this entire list is preliminary, and anything…" in caps for those that like to scan to the feature set with their flame throwers on stand-by <g>. JDH

Jonas; I looked, but didn't see any comment on render farms for MAX. Will we still be able to have many machines rendering with one license of MAX? Thanks, Dennis

Jonas, Gary indicated that net-rendering with MAX would be the same as with 3DS DOS. Kevin Krell – Computer Support Associates

>> Gary indicated that net-rendering with MAX would be the same as with 3DS DOS. << I think that the NETWORK pulldown on the Max menu is a good indication that it will have functionality similar to that of "Classic". – Dan / n-Space, Inc.
