Hello everybody, I've got a little problem: Two days ago, while I was installing a software on my hard drive, Actually, it's not that funny because since that day, my A1200 keeps saying that the hard drive is 100% full (in fact, it's only around 80%full) When I try to access the drive from CLI, it says that the drive HD1: is being validated (?) This is quite annoying because I can't write anything on the drive. I'd rather not reformat it because I don't want to backup everything on 3"5 disks. Is there a solution?

My suggestion is to go ahead and do that backup before you do anything to that drive. If you use one of the disk fixing utilities (we have some in AmigaUser) and it screws up for some reason, you'll lose your data. Steve

download disksalv to disk then decompress it to ram create a disk salv disk or un the program form ram: then it should fix that harddrive and delete the corrupt file it happens regularly to me
