#Turn off Acc. to 68000
3 messages in this thread
Tom,
How do you get your accelerator to run in 68000 mode??
A friend of mine cannot get his GVP 030 -> now 040, to do that without losing
the rest of the card…(ram etc on the card).
Thanks

This is normal. When you drop to 68000 you loose the accelerator and everything
attached to it. Only time you really need to do that is for games anyway, think
of it as 'Virus Protection':)

This is how they work. When one turns off the accelerator, one also turns
off any memory that resides on it. Forutnately, the main reason anyone turns
off an accelerator is to play games, and most of those don't have high memory
requirements. <g>
