Not that I want to shoot the messenger, but is Ed Goff going to repair my broken A1200? This is one big missing piece of the AT puzzle that leaves me with a very cold feeling, and one useless hunk of hardware. If anyone knows of a repair shop in SE Georgia, USA, please let me know! I have looked at the Amazing ads and discovered that, while many would repair A2000 or A4000s, help for the unfortunate A1200 owner is missing… Walt Lounsbery, Publisher Scientific Amigan cruising via WinCIM for the moment…

Walter, NO…Ed Goff isn't going to repair your A1200…he's a *Lawyer*!<g> You most likely will be able to get parts for your machine after they go back into production. When *exactly* that will be is anybody's guess! I take my machines to San Diego(80mi south)…to Dr. Micro…a great Amiga repairperson in the El Cajon area! Be sure to check out the XPress, the amiga Cad newsletter. I posted the last issue today..probably be up in the libs in a couple of days. Hope you can get the 1200 fixed!! Tom

Walter, <Ed Goff going to repair my broken A1200? This is one big missing piece of the AT puzzle that leaves me with a very cold feeling> One part of the distribution message that seems to have been ignored over the "no A1200/no marketing" stuff was that AT is signing with SMT to do repairs again (they did under C= also). There was no time announced as to when they were to start but I suspect once there are parts and motherboards etc. they will become available. Asha @}–`–,-
