I just tried your sugestion but my systeam still crashed, I do not know what
is wrong. I also have Zoo, and Lha, that I downloaded also crash my systeam.

When you say crash your system…describe what you mean…does it lock
up, give you a GURU or does the software simply not seem to work?

I don't think these programs are crashing your system. I think something else
is doing that. I KNOW that LHA138.RUN is a good program. All you have to do
to unpack it is to type its name at the prompt. If your system crashes from
doing that, then you need to check out the other things in your system that
could be causing crashes – because unpacking this program does NOT.
If you download these and try to use them without unpacking, you will get an
error message – but not a crash. Once unpacked, they just don't cause crashes.
Either they work, or they don't – but they don't crash systems.
You do need to know that almost everything here is packed with LHA. ARC, ZOO,
and the others are VERY old and almost never used any more.
