Hi, I have a rpblem with DPaintt IV AGA. Using A1200 030 1230xa 2mbx16mb. I
have the programme running on two machines. When I installed to the o30
machine I found that DP frequently drops back to a plain grey workbench screen.
No Icons and pointer locked up. Screen is not front/back. Only fix is to
reboot. On the stock A1200 the prog. runs fine..never had any problem with it.
I entered `Workbench' in tool types and this seemed to help a lot. But when I
ask the prog to do something a bit hard…there you go it does it again….!!
The problem 1200 has Magic Workbench I have lots of other progs like Image FX
and have no probs with them…Any clues anyone?? How do I contact Electronic
Arts these days?? Theanks in advance

If I was you I'd dump Dpaint for Brillance 2.0, much faster
well did you get the 4.6 upgrade of dpaint available in this forum?
…..this may fix the accelerator problems….i have dpaint 4.1/brilliance 1/2
and i don't like brilliance very much….even though it is faster,it's not very
good at drawing…..but the truebrilliance program is a beauty in ham 8,terible
when working in ham6,because it don't use a correct palette….
