Bob, I use an Amiga 2000 2.04 GVP 040/16, Megachip, 500 Mb HD, VideoToaster 3.5 (running LightWave of course), PAR with 1.7 Gb HD, with misc. software for paint and animation. Pretty basic by today's standards. My dream is to own the Raptore 3 with about 240 megs of ram, two 1.7 Gb HD's, and the yet to be releases Iomega Viper 1.5 Gb removable HD. Now that's a platform I could dance on!!! <BG> Take care, Mike,CyberGrafx.3D

Bob, <<Well…if thats a basic system, then mine is none existent. I have no boards (graphic), but would love to get one..any suggestions?>> What's your base machine A500, 2000, 4000? If I were to put together an inexpensive GRAPHICS ONLY machine today it would be a A2000 (if you can find one) because the 4000 is underpowered and smaller, Cyberstorm 060, or WarpEngine 040 accelerator w/16 Mb minimum, the graphics board would be a Picasso with 4 megs on the board, and a 1.7 Gb HD, with Alpha Paint, ImageFX 2.1, and Brilliance. For animation add the Video Toaster 4.0, and another 16 to 28 Mb ram. This will run you around $6000., the Piccasso graphics board is about $500. Let me know how it works out, Take care, Mike,CyberGrafx.3D

One problem with your upgrading a 2000,there isn't a warp that fits in a 2000 and there isn't a picasso with 4 megs of ram. Or if you know how to do these things I would appreciate the info. The 060 for the 2k hasn't been released yet (Phase 5 product that is)
