Does anyone know if Eric Schwartz has either a web page or an FTP site where one can grab his animaitons, or if he has plans to release his animatioins on CD ROM? -Pat "Cruising the North Coast On Autopilot"

Pat, Last nite was my first on the INET. I think I saw a page for Eric..go to the Mosaic Home page and snoop around. Most of his anims were there! Tom…….Ami/INet surfer dude…..

Tom: Amy Mosaic or windows Mosaic….and do you happen to have the URL? -Pat "Cruising the North Coast On Autopilot"

Most of his Anims are on Aminet Mirrors. In some of the newer Animation archives is mention of a site to get them all but I can't recall what the sitename is

Pat, Go to the AMosaic home page and scroll down the page…it's just a click away once you see it..then when in the directory scroll down the page to the Swartz site and click…it has a "NEW" icon indicating that it is a recent page addition! Good Luck! If you can't find it let me know and I will give you URL:…..if you do get there…be sure to use the pulldown menu selection…"Add to Hotlist"..now you'll always have it! Tom

Tom: Guess you'll have to give me the URL. My system isn't set up to run Amosaic; I do have an internet account through my place of business, but am limited to shell access and Lynx. -Pat "Cruising the North Coast On Autopilot"

Hi Tom, I was on the Amosaic page last night and didn't even notice the Swartz area I'll have to try again 😉

Hi Peter, It's toward the 'bottom' of the page for the Amiga Web Directory….which is just a click away from the Amosaic page…it's just a link. BTW, I was going to reply to your post in AUSER….Amosaic 1.2 is real buggy…get amosaic14beta4_amitcp.lha in the binary download directory at the "AMosaic" page. Be sure to visit the Aminet site and get aquainted with it, probably every file you ever wanted, except the 3d object you need tommorrow!<g> Tom .tbarker@empirenet.com

Thanx for the info Tom. I have been unable to get 1.4 to work on my system it always crashes whereas at least 1.2 runs fine.

Peter, You must be running WB 2.04? 1.4beta4 will only work with 3.x! Tom

Hey Peter, Yesterday I finally hit the Web for the first time. Your not the only one having problems with AMosaic 1.4. Went through the same thing just trying to get things going. I did figure it out though. How about answering a few questions ??? Please ??? Where do I start? Whats Cool? Whats not? How much is this costing me surfing through CI$????? I guess I should start by reading more than Read.me files and look at the docs :^( Later, ….John

Prolly costing ya a FORTUNE surfing via CI$ 😉 I use NYCMETRO>COM as my Internet provider. $45 per Quarter for UNLIMITED access no hourly fees. I'm using Amosaic 1.2 since 1.4 requires a newer version of WB than 2.04 that I have. Best place to START is http://www.yahoo.com it has links to pretty much everything. Also if ya check the recent issue of the Compuserve magazine you'll find a couple of pages of WWW sites to explore Many manufacturer's have Web sites like Sony,Kodak,Fuji etc Some magazines have them as well
