Anybody have any suggestions on easy way to create Tga files consisting of text
on a background for use as a Title leader in a 3dstudio animation. I know I can
render text in 3dStudio itself, but I was hoing there was a better way, perhaps
with Animator Pro.

depends on needsof final output. if you take it to AniPro, all sorts of tricks
possible, but you're back to 8-bit. one of the slickest tricks i ever saw with
a title leader though was the guy rendered some text (single frame), created it
as decal on transparent plane (shaper quad imported to 3d editor) linked to
camera position. also, image of text mixed in Video Post using alpha works.

Look into WinImages/FX from Blackbelt Software (Systems?). They're here on
Compuserve.
The program is very inexpensive (~$100) and has so really great capabilities.
