artist, but not much tech experience. need to convert anipro to a video. great loss of quality in attempts so far. color bleached and detail minimal. bought studio, but no experience, that program any help?

inexperienced. i believe i can convert flc to targa files with anipro, right? how do i acquire a 32 card with anipro drivers? i have a 486DX50 with 16 megs ram. video card VGA CIRRUS GD5426 V 1.4. setting 640x480x 256. am i already equipped?

I have imported the FLC into Video Post and rendered it as sequential Targa files as a background. The quality of the image is much better than using POCO's flc to tga but it uses quite a bit more disk space (and render time). Linda

If you're concerned about disk space, I'd suggest you render to .jpg for background stuff. You'll keep your 24-bit color and save lots of space. Experiment with the compression ratio to balance quality vs. disk space requirements. Regards, BP
