I have the file antive.zip which has antivesa.asm and antivesa.com. These are a fix for the long boot time for 3ds3 using an ati ultr pro. Where and how do I load these files?

Having not looked at this particular file I would expect that you should unzip this file to a floppy and install from the floppy drive. Look for a readme file to describe installation procedure.

Basically, you just need to make sure that you run antivesa.com before starting 3ds. If you never use vesa modes, then you can make the call to antivesa from autoexec.bat. If you do, you can create a little batch file that runs antivesa and then 3ds. To see where to place the antivesa program itself, just type in "path" at the dos prompt. That will show the directories dos will look in for executable programs. Just put it in whichever of the listed directories makes the most sense. LAM
