>> I wish that a nice gentleman who is experienced with 3D Studio teach me how to use the program very much. Jeffrey. << Jeffrey, If I were there with you, I would be glad to teach you about 3DS. Since I am not, you will need to teach yourself or find someone local to teach you. I and others on this forum can advise you on specific questions, but you will need to get into the program enough to know what questions to ask. Have you gone through the tutorials that come with 3DS? They are quit good and will give you an overview of how the program works. You might also want to get a copy of "Inside 3DStudio" it has a lot of useful info on using the program. Look around your area for a 3DS users group. Where do you live? There may be someone on this forum near you who could point you in the correct direction? Also, most 3DS dealers will offer training (of course they will have to charge for their time). Finally, continue to follow the messages here on the forum. You can learn a lot about techniques from the discussions here. Terry Gilbert Forcade & Associates

Dear Terry, I went through the tutorials that came with 3DS several times. I bought "Inside 3D Studio", "3D Studio Applied", "3D Studio Special Effects", "3D Studio IPAS Plug-in Reference", and "3D Studio Tips and Tricks" books, and read them. I live in Staten Island, New York. I think there is a user group in New Jersey because I got mail from them but I can't go there because I can't drive a car and I depend on Mommy to drive me. Are there instructions on installing 3D Studio and AutoCAD after installing Windows 95? Jeffrey.

Keep asking questions here and reading the threads on this forum. You should probably ask about Win95 in the HWare/OpSys/Video section of this forum. I have seen messages about it but haven't read anything. We are switching to NT and probably will pass on Win95. As for the user's group, can you take a bus. (I don't know a lot about the New York/New Jersey area). Terry Gilbert Forcade & Associates

Dear Terry, there are no city buses between Staten Island and New Jersey and I am afraid to out out by myself. I have to depend on Mommy to drive me. Jeffrey.
