Must be the phase of the moon, he muttered darkly, padding off down
the alley into a dense mist that soon swallowed him up, all except
for a faint, querulous monotone that persisted for several moments
after the abrupt exit. The stillness is interupted by an evil voice
that seems to emit from a broken doorway…. "He'll never figure it
out now.. heh heh heh heh heh"
Boy Ben – your message sounds like the beginning of a great adventure or
mystery. Do you write for a living? If not – you should.
Gee, thanks… I was just feeling a trifle whimsical… as for writing for
a living, well, I write software now, I *am* writing my first sci-fi novel,
and I guess it's in the blood. My dad was a writer of some note, my mom is
a literary agent, and my sister does french to english translations for
several of the bigger publishing houses. Really though, thanks… I was
just kidding around since I had totally forgotten the thread. –Ben–
