HAS ANYONE EVER CONSIDERED CREATING A SUBJECT INDEX FOR PRIOR ISSUES OF DDJ.
SUCH AN INDEX ON DISK WOULD CERTAINLY ENHANCE YOUR BOUND VOLUME LIBRARY
We think so too. Assistant editor Sara Noah-Ruddy has been working on the Index
for a few months now. Quite a big job as you can imagine. I'm not sure when it
is slated for release but I'll ask Sara when she returns to work next week and
post it here.

Here, here! That is, I considered it, but I found the idea too risky: too big
a chance that someone else, or DDJ itself, might get to market first. So, now I
must change my tune to: Hear, hear!
