I think word perfect is a great company. At least my experience with Word Perfect for the IBM has been real good. I have talked a lot of people into switching to Word Perfect from WordStar and Word. No complaints. It was probably the biggest thing I missed when I sold my IBM and got the AMIGA. However, I have been have quite a few problems with the AMIGA version and I do not seem to be getting any response from Word Perfect. Very time I call (which has been once a week for the last 4 or 5 weeks), I am told that someone will get back to me. I never get a call. The other frustrating thing is the people in the support group do not know anything about AMIGAs. I was also kind of disappointer with some of the requester in the AMIGA version. Like the printer definition requesters. It would be nice if all of the options were on one requester instead of making you go throught 4 or 5 in a row (it would also be nice to be able to back up). Has anyone found a way out of the spelling check mode (word lookup) without selecting a word? I seems there are also cases were I get locked in a two requester error sequence that I can not get out of (in the Spelling program I think). Would someone mind posting a brief list of what has been fixed? Thanks, chris nicotra

I guess I haven't had as much trouble with Amiga WP as some people. Perhaps I avoid the memory-related problems due to having 2.5MB. As far as BACKOUT from various functions, I haven't tried it from the spell checker when WP is waiting for a word, but MOST of the time EXIT (F7) or CANCEL (F1) seem to back out just fine for me. I DO agree that some of the WP functions require too many levels of requesters though. Oh Well, maybe NOTHING is really "perfect".
