Hi, do you happen to know if the A2000 has a male or female plug were the
modem plugs into? I bought an avatex 1200 modem with cables. Both sides of my
cables have male plugs. Will they fit on the a2000? As you may have gathered, I
havent recieved my a2000 yet.

Nope…the A2000 RS-232 port is gender reversed from the A1000 so
you'll need a cable with a MALE on one end and a FEMALE on the other end. OR
you can get a "gender mender" which will convert the male plug into a female
plug.

Thank You, thats what I thought. By the way, I just called my dealer and
my a2000 is in. I'll be picking it up today. The monitor is still not in
though. I'm in New York City. (for everyone's info). Thanks agn.
